More “Heir of Night” Feedback
"The Heir of Night"
Exactly a month ago, on July 19, I posted about my first reader response on The Heir of Night ARE from Joanna Preston.
The AREs have been put out by Eos, my US publisher (ie the book with the blue, Greg Bridges, cover) and Kate, my editor there, has been providing a few for giveaways to North American readers when I blog on the Supernatural Underground once a month.
And I have just received the following feedback from Sharon, one of the ARE winners (which she has given me permission to share here):
“I recently won a ARE of Heir of Night. I finished it today and wanted to say “WOW”! I don’t read fantasy, cause it isn’t my cup of tea, but this was a facinating story and and I am impressed with your talent to weave such a complex story and then tell it. It is beyond me how an author can come up with such a detailed world. Thanks for letting me get a preview of your book and I look forward to the next one!”

You are welcome 🙂 I just wish I had the words to do the book justice. Other than “wow” . Guess that is why you are the writer and I am the reader.
Speaking as a writer, I am very glad there are readers to say “wow”! 🙂

Not so many sleeps to go now and with Worldcon and the Christchurch Writers’ Festival both coming up I think the time is going to fly.
