This ‘n’ That Again
Mainly, I’m still working on the Great Revision and hope to get the section I’ve been working on all this week completed, so no time for big blog posts—but I’ll let you know tomorrow how its gone!

A friend emailed to say that she was doing some proofing of some of the Tales for Canterbury stories and how wonderful they are—I am very much looking forward to this anthology. And if you haven’t ordered your copy yet—hey you gotta do it, support the cause and get to read some great stories by authors such as … well, you can read the full list here. And order here. (Go on, do it–you know you want to!)

& Guess What—at the end of this month I’ll have been blogging for a year! And I’ve only missed one day—February 23, the day after the Feb 22 earthquake when there was no power at all. So I think that counts as extenuating circumstances rather than lack of commitment on my part. Anyway, might have to try and think of something on-blog to celebrate the first anniversary … Ideas, team?
Wow, a year already? It’s one of those things where it doesn’t feel like it could possibly have been a year, but also feels like much longer than that! Congratulations on making it this far! I wish I could say I’ve only managed to miss the one day in that time!
Thanks, Wen—I must admit, I do think some sort of celebration is in order. π
A birthday present would be traditional.
For you and the blog!
Really? Well, like hobbits, I love presents—but what would be good present for the blog? “We wonders, yes we does, preciousss …”
I wish I’d found your blog earlier I enjoy logging on each day to get words of wisdom. π
How nice of you to say that my words are wise—please come back any time! π ‘Seriously’ though, I try to keep the blog interesting, but sometimes feel like a very “ordinary girl” (from the song: ” … I’m just an ordinary girl”) so it’s nice to know that people are appreciatin’ the variants on “anything, really …”
Good lord, every day! That’s dedication… I’ve been posting a lackadaisical once or twice a week, lately. π
How’s about virtual chocolate in celebration? http://www.virtualchocolate.com/images/1130.jpg
“Blog every day with a spirit of joyful exhilaration”—cribbed from an aikido aphorism, attributed to the art’s founder: “Train every day with a spirit of joyful exhilaration!”
I do not always feel exhilarated when I start, but often get into the swing of things once I get going: very like aiki training, as it happens.
I shall check out the virtual chocolate link—I was very impressed by T Clear’s beautiful chocolate cake for the Tuesday Poem blog’s first birthday recently—but, you know, I must confess to a yearning for real chocolate …
