The Countdown Is On For “The Gathering of the Lost”
As of Monday it was exactly 1 month to the release of The Gathering of the Lost The Wall of Night Book Two in the USA, Australia and New Zealand on 27 March—and just 1 week later in the UK on 5 April.
(Please note the date update here, with Australia and New Zealand coming forward to 27 March and the UK going back 1 day to 5 April.)
And because I am very excited about seeing The Gathering of the Lost finally out there in the world I am marking the countdown with a series of excerpts from the book—but first, I thought we’d better check out the back cover copy that is always the very first ‘entry’ into a story.
So on Monday I featured the back cover copy from the USA/Canada version—and today it is the turn of the UK/AUS/NZ edition. Enjoy!

The Gathering of the Lost
.
SHE WILL NOT STAND ALONE.
Five years after the Darkswarm assault on her stronghold home, Malian of Night remains missing, believed dead in the wilds of Jaransor. But not all accept her death and now her enemies are on the hunt. Suspicion falls on the heralds Tarathan and Jehane, who find themselves caught in a web of intrigue and murder during the Ijiri Festival of Masks. They flee bearing word of a death on the Wall – and a call to duty and honour that Malian must answer or be forsworn.
Yet after five years of searching, the legendary weapons of the Derai’s greatest hero remain lost. Without them, a return to the Wall of Night promises only defeat and death.

Now go and get the third book finished…LOL
Robin, I’m glad you found something to like in my little story (or ‘big epic’ as the case may be … 😉 )
And yes, indeed–‘onward’ with WALL3!
Yay! The time creeps up, doesn’t it? I can’t believe it’s almost March already…
“Where does time go?” (Down the same wormhole as odd socks and pens, I suspect! 🙂 )
