Lovely, Helen, great to hear a NZ poet. And thank you for all your TP posts over the two years – I think you’ve only missed one week! Mary & Claire
Yes, I think it is only the one, despite earthquakes and book launches et al … Both major events! 🙂 But I love the whole idea of the Tuesday Poem–an international community of poets celebrating the art! And a hug thank you to both you and Claire for your work in keeping it going–because all communities and collectives need a bit of leadership “glue.”
Hi Helen – us again – meant to say, too, thank you for your huge support of the TP community and the NZ writing community as a whole – all of that takes enormous energy and you pour it out every week. Much appreciated. Mary & Claire.
Mary & Claire: Thank you so much for your kind words: I do my best, but sometimes it feels so little when set against all that is always out there, needing to be done. Life is short and the art so very long … but that feeling of being part of a community, the privilege of having a TP to be part of, is always a tremendous boost!
