What’s A-Happening On “…Anything, Really”: July 8 Round-Up
Last week’s big news was that The Gathering Of The Lost has been longlisted for the international David Gemmell Legend Award — an event canvassed here and here if you missed last week’s posts.

Coming Up This Week:
You may have noticed that I’m addressing ‘themes’ as part of the Tuesday Poem at the moment, so while the the voting period for the David Gemmell Legend Award longlist is open (until 31 July) I thought I’d feature what I consider to be legendary and/or epic poems — so watch the Tuesday slot for that.
Also coming up — well, part of writing an epic fantasy novel is that you get to think a lot about tropes, those you like that define the genre and those that you regard with considerably less enthusiasm, so I’ll be sharing a few of those with you over the next week or so.
And while not on the blog I remain ‘head down, tail up,’ soldiering away on Daughter Of Blood, The Wall of Night Book Three. Speaking of which: back to it!
