Hey, hey—Some Book Finishing Fun…
Hey, hey, I thought this was a lot of fun when Jan from SFFANZ sent it through…
Waddya reckon? ๐
Of course, it’s much more fun now I’ve finished (yahoo!) Daughter Of Blood, The Wall Of Night Book Three.

Great news, and a lovely laugh as well..

Helen, I am so glad to see that you have finished Book 3….I had to laugh when I found this blog….a good friend gave me a box full of books that she had been given by another friend, along with the comment that she hadn’t had a chance to read them yet, but still had another box of books by said friend that she hadn’t had time to read, so would I check these out and let her know which ones she would enjoy….(we have been enchanging books for over 30 years and know each other’s likes and dislikes pretty well)…one of the things she knows about me is that I do NOT start reading trilogies unntil they are all written…having to wait makes me crazy…LOL….well, as you probably have guessed, I didn’t realize that Heir of Night was a trilogy….sigh…so as I finished the secong book, and read that there was another book, I blithely started looking for it so that I could finish the story…I have really enjoyed these books, and you can imaging my chagrin when it finally sank in that the last book wasn’t available….ACK!! So, needless to say, I am really glad to read that it has in fact been finished…now comes the challenge of being patient till I can, in fact, get it for my new Kindle Paperwhite or get the actual book….Sigh….ahhhhh, well…what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, I have heard….usually it just makes me cranky… *Grin* Looking forward to seeing it and congrats on finishing it!!
It’s great to hear that you’ve finished writing Daughter of Blood. ๐
Thank you, all: glad you enjoyed the fun as I did.:)
Deborah, I love your wry account of book-waiting woe and empathise, having waited long and patiently myself on seveal occasions. And as I said on January 20th: “I can only apologise if I am making you wait far too long to find out what happens next!”
(I am glad though, that you’re loving the story!)
But, er, I do have some rather bad news I’m afraid: [whispers] the WALL series is a [coughs apologetically] quartet, not a trilogy… ๐ (Altho’, more story goodness…? :-))
Congrats on finished the book! I look forward reading the next installment ๐
Thank you, Charlotte! ๐
