Reviews To Date For “Daughter Of Blood”
The reason for that is simply a decision to wait until the post-publication dust has settled a bit before wetting my finger and holding it up to see which direction the wind of opinion is blowing from/to.
Of course, holding up one finger could mean something en-tire-ly different, but you know I would never do that, right? Right? 😉
However, it’s now two months since Daughter of Blood was published so I decided that today’s the day. So here they are, the reviews I’m aware of anyway, in publication order — only five so far, since January 26, but hey, early days, I’m sure.
January 29, 2016
“It might have been 750 pages, but it didn’t feel like it. There is constant action and I was absorbed in the complexity of the story and watching as all the pieces Lowe has been putting into place since book one start to fall into place … “
(I know, as a Kiwi, I’m always bemused by the site name, but I figure the founders must have watched Black Sheep 😉 )
“Crackerjack plotting … adventure and excitement populated by memorable characters that leap from the page. ”
“Helen Lowe’s brilliance in plotting, character building and writing shines through in DAUGHTER OF BLOOD, the third instalment … in this transcendent series.”
“Epicly satisfying … a wonderfully complex and surprising tapestry of characters and events.”
“I found this book to be a really satisfying read…”
