Tuesday Poetry: Haiku “Winter solitude” by Bashō
Winter solitude –
in a world of one color
the sound of wind.
– Matsuo Bashō, 1644 – 1694

I have been posting seasonal haiku and short poetry recently: this is one of my favourites from the Japanese master, Matsuo Bashō.
This is perfect … except, for me, it’s going to me 95F with 95% humidity today. It’s a big/small world!
It’s an upside-down vice versa world, that’s for sure, especially when it comes to hemisphere and seasons. 😉 But 95% humidity is not for me!
