On Supernatural Underground Now: Year Of Romance in Fantasy Fiction #2 — “Daughter of Smoke & Bone”
Last month I kicked of the Year of Romance (#YOR) in Fantasy Fiction (#RIFF) on Supernatural Underground by looking at The Lord Of The Rings Effect — aka When Romance is Missing-In-Action. 🙂
This month I am keeping the promise I made then, to feature a Fantasy novel “where love is far closer to the core of what makes the story tick.”
I can think of few better choices than Laini Taylor’s Daughter Of Smoke and Bone, which slots into the romance theme I term “my enemy, my love.”

“Once upon a time an angel and a devil fell in love.
It did not end well.”
Enjoy!
