It’s Not “The End” Yet – But I Can See It From Here: A WALL #4 Update
The essence of this WALL #4 update is pretty much encapsulated in the title.
A year ago, I told you that I was working to a deadline of 1 July this year for completing the WALL #4 manuscript. Unfortunately, life and the muses did not cooperate with that date, so I’m still writing, writing. However, although there is some way still to go, I can actually now see the end up ahead—which feels very positive to me as author, and I *hope* will prove encouraging for readers as well.
In terms of writing forward and knocking off key sections, the current tally stands at six sections drafted, with the seventh nearing completion, and three more plus the epilogue to go. There’s a lot in those three remaining sections, though, hence the note of caution, i.e. I may be able to see the end, but I’m not there yet.
As there may be some vagaries of the creative wind and tide yet to weather, I shall not estimate another “when” but assure you that I am writing steadily on and will let everyone know as soon as I do type “the end.”
In fact, stopping me shouting the news from the rooftops would probably require all the superheroes in both the Marvel and DC universes — or alternatively, a major power outage. 😉
In the meantime, your support, patience, and faith in the story are always very much appreciated.

Celebrating Daughter of Blood:
Don’t forget, too, that to support the Kindle Monthly Deal for Daughter of Blood in the USA/Canada and related markets, I’m celebrating DAUGHTER all this month here on the blog, with a Q&A Thursday.*
And maybe a few additional DAUGHTER posts for forthcoming Mondays as well – watch this slot!
*See last Thursday’s post, here, for a few Q&A provisos.
So glad to hear you’re making progress. It will be worth it. And it gives me the opportunity to re read through again in preparation, I don’t mind if I do, the story is enjoyable every time.
That’s so good to hear, Jacqui. One of my ambitions for the series is for it to be a story that keeps on giving so feedback that am on track with that is always welcome. 🙂
