I believe this to be fact, if not necessarily universally acknowledged… When I read the quote for the first time I stood right up and cheered. 😀

My writing experience is based on assignments. Most recently for postgrad study so fairly hefty word counts and a decent amount of research and this rings true to me even for that. All that information needs time to cook before you can make sense of the narrative or argument or concept you are wanting to convey.
“It is all one” — just to go all zen on you. 😉 But a great deal of what we do *is* connected in terms of process and approach.
