Brought To You From Inside the Writing Life & Lockdown Cave NZ :-)
As you may know from last week, NZ’s currently in another hard lockdown, trying to get on top of a Delta Covid-19 outbreak.

On the beach.
As you may also know from other posts (and last week’s mention, not that I repeat myself at all! :D), lockdown and the normal writing life don’t look that different.

Driftwood
Hence these photos coming to you from inside the writing life and Lockdown Cave NZ! The cave reference originates with Australia’s PM, Scott Morrison, I believe – apparently he felt it behooved him to comment on NZ’s approach to managing Covid-19 and share his reckonz that we’re living in a cave: O-o…

So I thought you might also like to take a closer look at a few closeups from inside the cave. 😉

Big sky
None of my wee snaps will ever make National Geographic, but from my cave to yours: enjoy. 😀
This photo is my personal favourite: it’s the full moon rising over the Southern Ocean, and the ‘wee dot’ directly below the moon is Venus Jupiter, rising at the same time. Kind of magical, despite the smallness!
Note: Thanks to Kim Falconer and Ian Griffin for their wise advice that the “bright star” rising with the last moon is Jupiter and not Venus. 😀
That is a pretty magnificent cave
These are beautiful, Helen! Thank you for sharing!
I’m glad you like m’cave, Andie & Beth. 🙂 I believe I’ll continue “cowering” here quite happily, and finishing “The Chaos Gate”, for a while yet.
Helen, the images are stunning, and I do love seeing the Moon rising over the sea! Totes magical!
Thanks, Kim!
The beach, ocean and moon views are awesome. Better than a city view any day.
I’m glad you like, June. 🙂
