Updates & Sneak Peeks
Monday’s post was the longawaited update on WALL #4 revision progress.
Having dubbed Part 1 (of the ‘Book of Two Halves’) a wrap, I feel a sneak preview may be in order. Nothing spoilery, of course, but what I believe builds on your knowledge of the WALL #1 – #3 story.
As noted with last year’s feature of the WALL #4 Tuckerization character, June Gum Young, the final version may vary — but I believe the essentials should remain.
Otherwise, it’s just a small reconnection with Faro and Taly. Enjoy!
“Faro’s journey south through the Barren Hills was a slow one, because Duar led them by paths that avoided the main routes and fellow travelers. The warrior, like most of his companions in the escort company, was taciturn, but he did tell Faro that disappearance was an art, one he and his comrades had been practicing for a long time. And Taly, once Grayharbor drew near, made it clear they wouldn’t be going there.
“Nowhere you’re known,” she said. So they bypassed Grayharbor in a dark predawn and started south along more back roads. Keeping clear of anyone who might see them and remember…”

Oh I really can’t wait to read this when it’s published! I’m excited to learn more about Faro!
Thanks Nick. We’re definitely on the same page with the “can’t wait.” 😉
Oo! I was a bit sad to see Faro go south, afraid he would be off screen for the last book. I like him! Glad to read that at least we get a glimpse of him and perhaps his fate. Keep up the good work, we keep faith!
Thank you so much for keeping faith, like Kalan and all those cut from his cloth.:)
