As for why this quote today, having just said “done” to the first half of the WALL finale, it does seem relevant. 😀
Particularly as it’s spot on in terms of the wip to date. That first go-to-whoa draft was indeed about getting a loop over the wild, rambunctious, and (not infrequently) downright cantankerous story, even though I knew the overall trajectory from the outset.
The subsequent time has absolutely been about getting the material into a form that ensures the story is being shared in its truest, best, and — I hope and trust — most dramatic form.
