The last stop on the Blog Tour <\/a>was with the excellent and estimable Gillian Polack<\/strong>, talking historical influence <\/a>in The Gathering of the Lost<\/strong><\/em> and The Wall of Night<\/strong> series.<\/p>\n

And as of today I’m touching base with Mary Victoria<\/strong> at her Chronicles of the Tree<\/strong><\/a> home. Mary is author of the Tree<\/strong> trilogy (Harper Voyager) that began with Tymon’s Flight<\/em><\/strong>, a shortlisted work for last year’s Gemmell Morningstar Award.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Mary, Gillian, Karen Healey<\/strong><\/a> and I were all on a panel together at Worldcon 68\/Aussiecon 4 in 2010, where we had a blast talking about cultural influence in FSF–and it came as absolutely no surprise when Mary had some searching and insightful questions to ask me about The Gathering of the Lost<\/em> and the character of Malian in particular…<\/p>\n
