Her publications include <em>\u2018The Bag Lady\u2019s Picnic and other stories\u2019<\/em> (Shoal Bay) and a poetry collection, <em>\u2018Dressing for the Cannibals\u2019 <\/em>(Sudden Valley). Recent short stories have been selected for Best New Zealand Fiction, Vintage, 2008 and 2009. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters, Victoria University of Wellington, and a Certificate in Adult Teaching. In 2005 she was the recipient of the CNZ Todd Bursary. She is currently writing a second collection of short stories. Frankie is an enthusiastic tutor with over ten years of teaching experience.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kerrin P. Sharpe<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hagleywriters.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/DSC03827.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"DSC03827\" src=\"http:\/\/hagleywriters.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/DSC03827-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a> completed Bill Manhire\u2019s Original Composition class at Victoria University of Wellington in 1976.\u00a0 Over the last two years she has been published widely, including in\u00a0<em>Best New Zealand Poems<\/em> 2008, 2009, and 2010; <em>Turbine<\/em> 2007, 2009 and 2010,\u00a0<em>Snorkel<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Bravado<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Takahe<\/em>, the <em>NZ Listener<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Poetry NZ<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Junctures<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Sport <\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Press<\/em>. In 2008, she was awarded the New Zealand Post Creative Writing Teacher\u2019s Award by the International Institute of Modern Letters.
