Well, for a start, I’m writing, which is why I’m behind on a few other things. But priorities, dear readers, priorities…<\/p>\n

And it’s getting very close to “That Day”—which shall not be named for fear of bringing the full awfulness of my unpreparedness raining down. (Yup, am feeling more than a little like Chicken Licken right now!) How about you? All organized—or contemplating a That Day “could-do-better” & “must-try-harder” like me? My excuse is that i) writing the next book; and ii) went on holiday for 10 days last month. (What was I thinking?) \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>But on a decidedly fun and far more exciting note, my friend and fellow author Ripley Patton<\/a> will be doing a guest post here on Sunday 16, celebrating release of the print edition of her debut novel (YA), Ghost Hand<\/em><\/strong>. I did hear a rumour that the post will\/may be on “character”—so do check back in on Sunday to support Ripley and also to find out whether I’m right or not!<\/p>\n
