I couldn’t help but be pleased that this post made it into the ten most-read posts for last year—because let’s face it, as an author, the only thing more important than writing your books is getting them “out there” into the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

So it’s nice when your stats tell you that the world “oot thar” thinks it’s at least a little bit important, too. \ud83d\ude09 <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s Publication Day for New Zealand, Australia & the USA: Welcome to \u201cThe Gathering of the Lost\u201d<\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve survived earthquakes and liquefaction, we\u2019ve counted down with excerpts from the book and finally the first 100 pages, we\u2019ve talked celebrations and blog tours\u2014and now finally, it\u2019s The Day.<\/p>\n

Today I\u2019m welcoming The Gathering of the Lost<\/em><\/strong>, the second novel in The Wall of Night<\/strong> series, fully into the public arena right here in New Zealand, over the Tasman in Australia (it\u2019s official my books are now Tasmanauts! \u2014 waves out to Joanna Preston<\/a>) and in the USA and Canada. (And in just 9 days time, on April 5, it\u2019ll be out in the UK as well.) And although there\u2019s plenty happening here, later on in first Australian, and then USA, time I\u2019ll be linking through to guest posts on Orbit<\/a> and SF Signal<\/a> respectively.<\/p>\n
