Right now I’m keeping my main focus on writing, writing Daughter of Blood<\/em>, The Wall of Night<\/a> Book Three<\/strong> but there are a few other things happening right now.<\/p>\n

UK\/AUS\/NZ<\/p><\/div>\n

UK Mass Market Publication of The Gathering Of The Lost<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Firstly, the mass market edition of The Gathering Of The Lost,<\/em> The Wall of Night Book Two<\/strong> is now out in the UK. If I’m to keep the writing momentum going on Daughter of Blood<\/em><\/strong> then I can’t take time out to do a lot of promo (as per last year’s Blog Tour, which was great but didn’t<\/em> leave a great deal of time for actual writing!) but I am doing two celebratory posts for my UK publisher Orbit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first\u00a0 post, Use of Weapons: The Armoury of Epic Fantasy<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, posted on Thursday 21 (UK time) and has had some nice comments (& its never too late for more if you want to keep ’em coming! \ud83d\ude09 ) The second will go up on Thursday 28 (again UK time), but the topic is currently ‘under wraps’ so watch this space and\/or Orbit<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I’ll also be continuing my re-posting of some of the features from last years Blog Tour, since they’re all The Gathering Of The Lost<\/em><\/strong> themed. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A New Review By A New Reviewer:<\/strong> Chris Whelan Reviews The Gathering Storm<\/em> by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson<\/h3>\n

You’ll recall I did a giveaway<\/a> for A Memory of Light<\/em><\/strong> the fourteenth and final novel in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time<\/strong> series recently.\u00a0 Sparked by commenters’ enthusiasm, and given the significance of this series within the epic fantasy canon, I asked long time SFF reader, Chris Whelan<\/strong>, if he would review the final three books in the series, all written by Brandon Sanderson<\/a> in accordance with notes left by Robert Jordan.<\/p>\n

Chris has now completed his first of the three reviews and I’m very pleased tobe featuring it here on Wednesday 27, with the reviews for Books 13 and 14 following sometime over the next month to six weeks.<\/p>\n

Yup, it’s the last week of the month, and that means it’s time for my “Fun with Aus\/NZ Friends”<\/a> interview on SF Signal<\/a> and I’m delighted to say that this month’s interview will be with YA author Karen Healey<\/a>, mainly talking about her new-out novel, When We Wake<\/strong><\/em>—which I read ahead of the interview and loved, by the way! Anyway, looking forward to seeing that one post on SF Signal<\/strong> sometime this week.<\/p>\n

My second regular guest spot is on the Supernatural Underground<\/a> on the 1st day of the month so I’ll be cross posting to that too, later in the week—I haven’t quite decided on my topic yet, but I’m thinking something at the lighter\/more fun end of the spectrum.<\/p>\n
