As I posted recently, a great many people around the world have gotten to know New Zealand as \u201cMiddle Earth\u201d in The Lord of the Rings<\/strong> films.<\/p>\n

And since I am a Fantasy author living right here in Middle Earth, over the next wee while I thought I\u2019d share a few images of \u201cmy\u201d Middle Earth right here on the blog. First up was Tamaki Makarau<\/a>, aka Auckland & environs.<\/p>\n

Today’s images are from the King Country, to the south of Auckland and west of “The Shire.” \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 It’s also an area where I did a fair amount of my growing up.<\/p>\n
