Hokey-dokey: dusts hands for some blog update time!<\/p>\n

Coming up this week we have another epic-legendary poem for tomorrow’s Tuesday Poem<\/a> — following on from last week’s taste of\u00a0 The Iliad<\/a> I’ll be taking a look at the Anglo-Saxon The Seafarer<\/em><\/strong>. (I love this poem.)<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, it’s back to our fortnightly feature in which Rebecca Fisher talks Big Worlds On Small Screens<\/a>: this week she is looking at Warehouse 13<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Come Thursday, I should be crossing to SF Signal<\/a> for a Mind Meld feature on the great epic fantasy trope, “The Road Trip”, aka the quest journey, so I hope you’ll click through and take a look at what I have to say. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I also hope to feature the Sir Julius Vogel Award<\/a> winners, announced as part of the weekend’s Au Contraire convention, at some stage during the week.<\/p>\n

And of course Friday is A Geography Of Haarth<\/a> day — plenty to be going on with while I beaver away in the background on ‘the book, the book.’<\/p>\n
