Each entry is accompanied by a quote from the books in which the place appears, currently either <a href=\"http:\/\/helenlowe.info\/heirofnight.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Heir Of Night<\/em><\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/helenlowe.info\/gatheringofthelost.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Gathering Of The Lost<\/em><\/a>, or both.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently concluding the final stage of <strong>A Geography Of Haarth<\/strong> by traversing the great plains of \u201cW.\u201d \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Wards:\u00a0<\/strong> the six administrative territories surrounding Caer Argent in Emer, ruled by the Lords(or Ladies)-Warden and named for heraldic colors&#8212;Vertward, Gulesward, Azurward, Murreward, Tenneward, and Cendreward<\/span>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>&#8220;It was six weeks now since they had left the old fort, with the dark earth of the grave mounds scarring the green ground, and ridden back to Normarch\u2014and three weeks since those going to Caer Argent had begun their journey south&#8230;as the Northern March gave way to the Land Marks and then the inner Wards that surrounded Caer Argent&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>Malian&#8230;looked around&#8230;\u201cAnd this is pretty country, much gentler than the Northern March.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em>\u201cThe inner Wards have been peaceful for a long time,\u201d Audin said, \u201ceven compared to the Land Marks.
