Tau neutrinos,<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span lang=\"en-nz\">electron neutrinos, muon neutrinos. Products of nuclear reactions,<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span lang=\"en-nz\">products of beta decay. Fragments of space inside him,<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span lang=\"en-nz\">connecting him to the wide, hot stars that seem distant and high<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span lang=\"en-nz\">because he must look up to see them, but which, really,<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span lang=\"en-nz\">are all around him, all the time. Her first full-length poetry collection, <strong><em>Kingdom Animalia: The Escapades of Linnaeus<\/em><\/strong>, was published by Auckland University Press in 2011. She is also the author of a chapbook, <strong><em>The Continuing Adventures of Alice Spider<\/em><\/strong> (Anomalous Press, 2013), and co-author of <strong><em>AUP New Poets 3<\/em><\/strong> (AUP, 2008).<\/p>\n<p data-canvas-width=\"466.4100000000001\">Her poetry has appeared in a wide range of journals and anthologies in New Zealand and overseas, including <strong><em>Essential New Zealand Poems: Facing the Empty Page<\/em><\/strong> (Random House, 2014), <strong><em>Best NZ Poems 2012<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>Landfall<\/em><\/strong>.
