As I observed last week<\/a>, revealing the US\u00a0 and UK covers for Daughter Of Blood<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 sparked an ambition to send some on-blog time with the characters from the first two books in the series, in the same way I spent time on the world in A Geography Of Haarth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I also decided to on the more minor players to begin with, because: \u201cSometimes I think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I shall start at the beginning, with “A” in the first book in The Wall Of Night<\/a> series, which is, of course, The Heir Of Night<\/em><\/a>. I hope you may enjoy the “many meetings” that shall ensue. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
