The recent unveiling of the US<\/a>\u00a0 and UK<\/a> covers for Daughter Of Blood<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 has inspired me to spend some on-blog time with the characters from the first two books in the series\u2014in the same way I spent time on the worldbuilding in A Geography Of Haarth<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I also decided to on the more minor players to begin with, because: \u201cI think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m starting at the beginning, with characters from The Heir Of Night<\/em><\/a>, the first book in The Wall Of Night<\/a> series — and today we’ve leapt from “B” to “D.”<\/p>\n
