{"id":3147,"date":"2011-01-16T07:30:58","date_gmt":"2011-01-15T18:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helenlowe.info\/blog\/?p=3147"},"modified":"2011-01-14T14:52:59","modified_gmt":"2011-01-14T01:52:59","slug":"sir-julius-vogel-award-nominations-best-artwork","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helenlowe.info\/blog\/2011\/01\/16\/sir-julius-vogel-award-nominations-best-artwork\/","title":{"rendered":"Sir Julius Vogel Award Nominations: Best Artwork"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday 12 I alerted you all to the\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/sffanz.sf.org.nz\/sjv\/sjvAwards.shtml\"><strong>Sir Julius Vogel Awards<\/strong><\/a> being opened for nomination on 1 January and closing on 31 March, 2011. I also encouraged you to support NZ artists and writers by nominating the works you&#8217;ve loved&#8212;and also works of merit, generally&#8212;created by a New Zealander and first published or released in the 2010 calendar year. And then mentioned a few adult and YA SFF novels published in the past year that immediately &#8216;sprang to mind&#8217;, just to help the process along.<\/p>\n<p>Generally speaking I am fairly printed-word focused, but last night I thought&#8212;what about that Best Artwork Award then?
