FB Group Haarth — & A Special Q&A<\/h3>\n

Last week I mentioned a forthcoming Q&A on Twitter, in which I’ll be responding to questions on Daughter of Blood<\/em><\/a> and The Wall of Night<\/a> series posed by members of the newly formed FB Group Haarth<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

I’ll be on Twitter, introducing the Q&A and answering three questions from members of the group —about the series & Daughter Of Blood<\/em><\/a> in particular — at 11.30 pm NZ time<\/strong>, which equates with:<\/p>\n

7.30 am US EST<\/div>\n
12.30 pm UK<\/div>\n
3.33 pm Dubai<\/div>\n

What I’ll do:<\/strong> I’ll answer three questions using consecutive tweets and the #TheWallOfNight hashtag, until my replies are done. Then I’ll\u00a0 ‘hover’ in the Twitter-verse for a while longer to see if there are responses or follow-up questions — and although this event has been generated by the Haarth FB group (so a big ‘thank you’ to Team Haarth), anyone is welcome to join in the fun. And if you just want to lurk, that’s absolutely fine, too. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

\"Flash<\/a>Flash In The Pan: National Flash Fiction Day<\/h3>\n

NZ National Flash Fiction Day is on June 22nd<\/strong> and in Christchurch we’re celebrating with Flash in the Pan<\/strong>, an event that will “bring together established and emerging flash fiction aficionados for a spirited, uplifting, unexpected and engaging literary evening.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Although it may seem odd given my penchant for epic fantasy, I do also pen flash (short short) fiction from time to time — perhaps not surprisingly since it is first cousin to poetry, which I also write.<\/p>\n

At any rate, I am honoured to be one of the eight guest readers (although still<\/em> trying to decide which flash story to read.)<\/p>\n
