The\u00a0About The Characters<\/a>\u00a0post series focuses on the minor characters in\u00a0The Wall Of Night<\/a>\u00a0series, in large part because:<\/p>\n

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from\u00a0The Heir of Night<\/em><\/a>, but now I\u2019m continuing on with minor characters from both\u00a0The Gathering Of The Lost<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Daughter of Blood<\/em><\/a>\u00a0simultaneously \u2014 in alphabetical order, of course!<\/p>\n

\u201cYour sister has sent for you,\u201d the ensign continued, when Myr did not speak. \u201cCaptain- Lady Hatha wants to see how your weapons\u2019 practice is progressing.\u201d <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
Myr groaned. \u201cDo I have to?\u201d <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
Taly\u2019s expression did not change. \u201cShe said I was to flush you out, wherever you were hiding. And that my failure would not be acceptable to her.\u201d <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
I hate the way Hatha does that, Myr thought: makes it clear that Taly, Dab, or whoever else she corners will get punishment detail if <\/em>I don\u2019t do what she wants. \u201cI loathe weapons practice,\u201d she said…<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
