The focus is on A Wizard of Earthsea <\/em><\/strong>because as the first book in the series it’s where all the founding worldbuilding takes place.<\/p>\n

So far with this post series, the focus is on the art and craft of building more than the world itself, although it’s not possible to completely separate one from the other. Needless to say, as with CS Lewis in last month’s feature, I consider Le Guin a master of the worldbuilding art.<\/p>\n
