The\u00a0About The Characters<\/a>\u00a0post series focuses on the minor characters in\u00a0The Wall Of Night<\/a>\u00a0series, in large part because:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from\u00a0The Heir of Night<\/em><\/a>, but now I\u2019m continuing on with minor characters from both\u00a0The Gathering Of The Lost<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Daughter of Blood<\/em><\/a>\u00a0\u2014 in alphabetical order, of course!<\/p>\n
At present, we\u2019re still very much in\u00a0Daughter of Blood<\/em> territory—but this is the very last entry for the marvellous letter \u201cK.\u201d \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Kylin:<\/strong> an attendant to Lady Myrathis, a Daughter of the House of Blood and the bride pledged to marry the Earl of Night<\/span><\/p>\n
\u201cCompletely unsuitable, of course.\u201d A voice spoke from the adjoining dayroom, and Myr recognized the speaker as Kylin, another of her new attendants. A smothered laugh followed…<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
Kylin is like Kolthis, Myr thought: she may not actively intend me to hear, but she doesn\u2019t care if I do.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
