As you may know from last week<\/strong><\/a>, NZ\u2019s currently in another hard lockdown, trying to get on top of a Delta Covid-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n

As you may also know from other posts<\/strong><\/a> (and last week\u2019s mention, not that I repeat myself at all<\/em>! :D), lockdown and the normal writing life don\u2019t look that different.<\/p>\n

Hence these photos coming to you from inside the writing life and<\/em> Lockdown Cave NZ! The cave reference originates with Australia\u2019s PM, Scott Morrison, I believe \u2013 apparently he felt it behooved him to comment on NZ\u2019s approach to managing Covid-19 and share his reckonz that we\u2019re living in a cave: O-o\u2026<\/p>\n

None of my wee snaps will ever make National Geographic, but from my cave to yours: enjoy. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

This photo is my personal favourite: it’s the full moon rising over the Southern Ocean, and the ‘wee dot’ directly below the moon is Venus<\/del> Jupiter<\/strong>, rising at the same time. Kind of magical, despite the smallness!<\/p>\n

Note: Thanks to Kim Falconer<\/a> and Ian Griffin<\/a> for their wise advice that the “bright star” rising with the last moon is Jupiter and not Venus. \ud83d\ude00<\/em><\/p>\n
