\u201cYes,\u201d<\/em> I said, on reading these lines in Charles de Lint\u2019s The Little Country<\/em>. For me, the quote resonated with others that see reading as an interactive process between writer and reader\u2014like the AS Byatt quote here<\/a>, or the very salient observation from Gordon Lish, here,<\/a> on what books are really about.<\/p>\n

It also resonates with Mansi\u2019s observation<\/a> in the Group Haarth series<\/a>, speaking to the positives of being in the group: \u201c\u2026we get to see various points of view and different sides of the story from the other person\u2019s perspective\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
