Pohutakawa: the NZ “Christmas” tree<\/p><\/div>\n

We-ell, Christmas for starters, at the end of the week! I’ll confess to having had my head buried firmly in the sand, as well as my fingers plugging my ears , rather desperately chanting something like, “la-la-LA—nothing<\/em> to see here!”<\/p>\n

Not that it’s helped at all: Christmas is still right there at the end of the week and getting bigger and closer. Once we hit the 25th, too, you know what that means—just one week more and we’ll all be in 2022. Am I ready? Not at all. I am, however, doing my best to make a valiant pretense of readiness.<\/p>\n

To which end, I shall be telling you which of the many books I’ve read this year has made the greatest overall\u00a0 impression; doing the now-traditional round up of the most-read posts in 2021 (here, on Anything, Really<\/em>, that is). Also, either late in 2021 or very early in 2022, I’ll be posting a WALL #4 progress update.<\/p>\n

Oh yes, and over on Supernatural Underground<\/a>, a few of us will be doing a special post for ‘the season’, which should post tomorrow, on the 21st—either the longest or shortest day, depending on the hemisphere!<\/p>\n
