The About The Characters<\/strong><\/a> post series focuses on the minor characters in The Wall Of Night<\/strong><\/a> series, in large part because:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, but now I\u2019m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and Daughter of Blood<\/strong><\/em><\/a> \u2014 in alphabetical order, by name, of course!<\/p>\n

As you will observe, we are still traversing \u201cM\u201d \u2013 long may the goodness continue. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

The listening silence returned. \u201cNothing,\u201d the assassin said at last. \u201cJust hay, and I’ve run a sword through that. I’ll go through this window and onto the roof, check that, too.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNo need.\u201d The Master was crisp. \u201cLien and Miro have just gone over the roof of the house and can see the stable from there. They say it’s clear, too, so we must spread the net wider. I want this quarry found.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
