Having received a query on Good Reads, I thought I’d highlight that there have been a couple of The Wall Of Night<\/a> #4 progress updates so far this year. The first was a“still writing, not finished yet”<\/em> update on January 30<\/a>, but the more significant two were:<\/p>\n

Real News — 27 April<\/a>: in which I advised that the go-to-whoa narrative arc for the story (and the series — woohoo!) was complete<\/p>\n

Revision Ho — 1 May<\/a>: in which the revision process officially began!<\/p>\n

At one level, each represents just one more step in the journey of a thousand miles (and considerably more than 1000 words), but I think we can probably agree they’re significant steps.<\/p>\n

At this stage, all I can add by way of additional news is that the revision has gotten off to a positive start, so all digits pretzelled that the positive continues.<\/p>\n

For the record, updates will always appear under About My Books<\/a> and About What I’m Doing<\/a>, themselves located under Categories <\/strong>in the far-right-hand sidebar of the blog.<\/p>\n

I shall do my best to keep them coming around every 3-4 months, or otherwise when there is News of Note to report. On which occasions, the heraldic fanfares shall not be stinted. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
