The About The Characters<\/strong><\/a> post series focuses on the minor characters in The Wall Of Night<\/strong><\/a> series, in large part because:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, but now I\u2019m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and Daughter of Blood<\/strong><\/em><\/a> \u2014 in alphabetical order, by name, of course!<\/p>\n

Currently we’re exploring “N” and and today\u2019s character is Nindorith, who appears in both The Gathering of the Lost<\/em> and Daughter of Blood<\/em>. Like Nherenor<\/a>, featured relatively recently, Nindorith is a character whose page time may be \u201cminor\u201d, but is outweighed by his influence within the story.<\/p>\n

So without further ado (or to-do \ud83d\ude09 ):<\/p>\n

Nindorith<\/strong>: a Darksworn ascendant, most closely associated with Lightning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rhike stiffened. \u201cNindorith comes!\u201d she hissed. <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The portal tore open almost directly in front of the elm branch where Malian lay. She recognized the power that surged through from the grounds of Tenneward Lodge\u2014and that what she had encountered then was only the shadow of the entity that was arriving now. For a split second it reminded her of Hylcarian\u2014but the flames that ignited around the edges of the portal were black, and the force behind them was greater than anything she had ever felt before, even in the heart of the Old Keep.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
