Currently I’m wrapping up my Year of Villainy in Fantasy with a Grand Finale<\/a>,<\/p>\n

As you’ll know from last week, I’ve joined with Kim Falconer<\/a> and Amanda Arista<\/a> to illustrate the genre and storytelling themes discussed in “Villainy Among Friends”<\/a> with an upfront look at a villain from one of our books.<\/p>\n

Given The Wall Of Night series<\/a> pantheon, the question was which one to choose — but in the end it was hard to go past Arcolin and his encounter with Faro in the Ship’s Prow House, in the early part of Daughter of Blood<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

So I didn’t go past him. \ud83d\ude00 And I do think he makes a worthy contribution as Villain #3 in the Grand Finale of Villainy.<\/p>\n

The crew at Supernatural Underground HQ think he’s ‘bad to the bone’, but I’ll let you read (or reread) and make up your own minds:<\/p>\n
