Posting an ‘About the Characters<\/a>‘ instalment certainly feels as if I’m picking up the threads of the new year and reestablishing routines, after what proved to be a very full-on holiday period. A case of returning to the writing desk for a rest—or less hectic rushing about, at least. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Just to run over the \u201cMeet the Minor Players\u201d drill it focuses on the minor (or more correctly—sometimes anyway—\u201cmore minor\u201d) characters in The Wall Of Night<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0series because:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s the presence of the smaller characters that \u201cmakes\u201d a story, creating texture around the main points of view.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
