Well, it’s the spring equinox here and daylight saving for summer starts on Saturday!<\/p>\n

Yep, it’s blossom time here<\/p><\/div>\n

All of which, together with the weather we’ve been having, where balmy days give way to icy winds and hail, makes me think of William Carlos Williams’ Spring and All<\/em><\/strong>, which I discussed a year ago, here<\/a>. In short, although there’s plenty of spring blossom about it feels a tad early for summer time yet. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

In the Wall of Night world, of course, spring equinox means the characters have passed the Festival of Masks (although that’s only celebrated in Ij) and are looking forward to Summer’s Eve’s.<\/p>\n

While for those in the Northern Hemisphere, who will be enjoying the autumn equinox, the Haarth equivalent would be bidding farewell to Summer’s End and moving into Autumn’s Eve.<\/p>\n
