Yes, gentle readers, I have been invited—and accepted the invitation—to a Writers’ Tea Party on Sunday September 11th.<\/p>\n
I don’t know, there’s just something<\/em> about being invited to a tea party. It makes me think of Mad Hatters and March Hares—and tea dresses and lace gloves.:)<\/p>\n This particular tea party is held at the Hurunui Memorial Library<\/a> in Amberley<\/a>, just north of Christchurch and is hosted by the Friends of the Library (in this case, Hurunui District Libraries, plural.)\u00a0 The other writers that I will be reading and tea partying\u00a0 with are James Norcliffe<\/a> and Joanna Orwin<\/a>, both of whom I know, so I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.
