By some fortuitous alchemy the two books in the title arrived at the same time, and both are the third and final books in their respective series—NK Jemisin’s<\/a> Inheritance<\/strong><\/span> trilogy and Mary Victoria’s<\/a> Chronicles of the Tree<\/strong><\/span>. But there is more: the first in each series, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms<\/em><\/strong> and Tymon’s Flight<\/em><\/strong> respectively, were\u00a0 nominated for Gemmell Awards<\/strong><\/a> this year—both in the Morningstar<\/strong> category<\/strong> for “Best Fantasy Newcomer\/Debut.”<\/p>\n

At any rate, I am very excited to have the final book in both these series finally in my hands and am looking forward to some quality reading time—on the sofa of course \ud83d\ude09 —in the near future.<\/p>\n
