What’s Coming Up
Yesterday I posted on writing the novel (an extended nautical metaphor with added poetry goodness ;-)), which is always the biggest part of the pie chart of “what I’m doing”—but there’s often a good deal else on the authorial plate at any one time. And even if it is only the third week in January, I am already hearing the whoosh of the days as they fleet by. ((Nods to Douglas Adams.)
So what is coming up for late January and into February:
.
The Tuesday Poem
— firstly, as I also mentioned yesterday, the Tuesday Poem will be resuming next week—huzza!—and Kathleen Jones will be featuring one of my poems on or around February 22nd. I am a great fan of Kathleen’s poetry so am delighted that she wishes to feature one of mine.
You may recall that I featured Kathleen’s poem ” Listening to Glenn Gould on Orton Scar“, from her award-winning collection, “Not Saying Goodbye At Gate 21″ (Templar Poetry, 2011), during one of my stints as guest editor on the TP Hub. (Just click on the poem title to read.)

SF Signal “Fun With (Australian/New Zealand) Friends” Interview Series
Yes, this too is about to kick off again for 2013 and I shall be sending through my interview with Australian author Marianne de Pierres very soon.
.
Interviews with Fellow (Mainly Epic) Fantasy Authors
I’ve been book swapping with fellow (newer) epic Fantasy authors and now I’ve completed the first two books in Elspeth Cooper’s The Wild Hunt Series—which I talked about in my Holiday Reading post—I’ll be interviewing her here shortly. I just have to get my skates on and get the questions away! And after that I hope to feature a few more fellow fantasy authors—who knows, it may even get to be a blog series!
.
I Am interviewed Too–As Karen McMillan’s “Guest of the Month” for February 2013
You may recall that I posted Karen’s review of Kate Mosse’s Citadel here in October. Karen is a fellow author, reader, and also a friend and I’m delighted to be her guest of the month. I’ll post here once the interview is up, but in the meantime, to find out more about Karen, click here.
