About The Characters: Meet The Minor Players in “The Wall Of Night” Series — Aarion
Recently I’ve resumed my “About the Characters” post series that focuses on the minor characters in The Wall Of Night series — because “I think it’s the presence of the smaller characters that “makes” a story, creating texture around the main points of view.”
Until now, the series has been focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night, but now that’s done I shall continue with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost and Daughter of Blood simultaneously — but still in alphabetical order, of course! (The quotes will be the key to whether the character appears in both or only one of the books.)
Starting with a double Aa- for Aarion. 🙂

Aarion: a House of Blood honor guard
‘ They found the caravan shortly after noon, far sooner than Kalan had expected because it was still encamped. Dain, who had been scouting ahead, rode back with the news, while Aarion awaited their arrival below a long rise in the road. “You’ll see the camp over the crest,” he told them. “It’s too far to make out details, but something’s not right.” ‘
