Ending As We Began – Photo #10 From Marion Drolsbach’s NZ Visit
Today we come full circle, ending (close to) where we began with this “Fun With Friends” post series.
As those who have been following along will know, Marion Drolsbach is a book translator (English to Dutch), and we first met when she was translating The Heir of Night. So I was delighted, toward the end of last year, when she visited New Zealand, together with her husband Malcolm.
Both are keen photographers, so I have been able to extend the pleasure of the visit by featuring some of their photographs, chiefly Marion but a couple from Malcolm as well.
If you can remember back that far, (but otherwise the ‘Preceding Posts” below may help 😉 ) awa’ back on January 19, I began the series with a sunrise – and today will end with another photo of the same sunrise from the same spot.
Innit wonderful?
I do hope you have enjoyed the series — and if you have a favourite, do let me know in the comments. 😀
Many, many thanks to Marion and Malcolm for letting me share their photos here. If want to check out more of their life literary and photographic on t’wild wild ’webs, you could start with Twitter:
