Meet The Prince of Lightning: Meet The Minor Players In “The Wall of Night” Series

USA
As you know, the “Meet the Minor Players” post features the minor characters in The Wall Of Night series. One of the reasons for posting this series is because the major characters always get featured and discussed, but: —
“I think it’s the presence of the smaller characters that (also) “makes” a story, creating texture around the main points of view.”
~ Helen Lowe (from my Legend Award Finalist’s Interview)
Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night, but now I’m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost and Daughter of Blood — in alphabetical order, by name, of course!
Of course, when it comes to “minor”, that may be true in terms of page time, yet the character may still cut considerable swathe in the story. I believe the Prince of Lightning, also known as Ilkerineth, is one of those characters.

Prince of Lightning: the leader of the Sworn — or Darksworn, depending on your perspective — nation of Lightning.
“Spies in our camp, eh?” The warrior’s voice was fading, but he did not sound perturbed. Like his voice, the cave mouth was also receding, but Myr could still discern the tall figure in barbed armor, framed against it. “Well, I have warned you, let that count in my favor when you next speak with Nindorith and the Prince of Lightning.”
