Thornspell is my first novel and is published by Knopf (Random House Children's Books, USA). It won the Sir Julius Vogel Award 2009 for Best Novel: Young Adult and was a Storylines Childrens' Literature Trust Notable Book 2009.
“Karen Memory” by Elizabeth Bear
I liked it so much it is going into my Hugo 2016 Nomination list for the Novel category. It is a steampunk Western.
Also “Prudence” by Gail Carriger. I can barely wait for “Imprudence”, the next book in the series.
