Our work here is done for the present time.
The initial results of our bombardment of Mission Target Three appear satisfactory. Our analysis of the EM spectrum shows a large reduction in the strength of the signals that are characteristically generated by functioning Vader colonies.
As a final step, we have also mated what is left of the NRRV Lepanto to an asteroid of appreciable mass. The ship’s in-system drive is much reduced in power, but is still capable of ensuring that in approximately 10.53 standard solar years from now, said asteroid will impact the surface of MT3.
This will unleash a level of devastation comparable to that which we have just visited upon MT3, and should deliver a significant check to any Vader efforts at recovery.
It has been decided that in the meantime we shall return to Earth-that-was, and make of it what we can. We must ready the inhabitants of this time for the onset of the Vader menace, for the Vaders will surely not wish to be contained forever within a single system, and they must not be given the chance to spread beyond it.
It falls to us to see that Earth and all its different types of people stand ready to meet this threat. I cannot help but feel that it is fitting that it will be I and my companions that plant the seeds that will of necessity blossom into a new multi-species human civilisation of the highest order, that is built for the noblest of purposes.
For what could be a nobler purpose than to fecundate an entire new civilisation that is based on the high principles of pure science? This is an outcome that I find to be most satisfying.
We will of course also search for other allies and enlist them in our cause. Our knowledge of the non-human civilisations that are extant in this time period is sketchy, but this will only cause us a temporary inconvenience.
There is evidence to suggest that something we can call Bringer has survived its transition into our current reality, and Lepanto is certain that Bringer will be able to communicate with us again soon.
It seems likely that Bringer will have extensive knowledge of the civilisations that were extant in this area in the not too distant past – and we will make good use of this knowledge in the pursuit of our noble goals.
Forth then we go, into the gilt-edged pages of a history book that is not yet written. My companions and I are ready to take up this burden.
We will face what comes with steely resolve, and the potent might of our full intellect. We cannot but be successful.
Log Entry Ends.

Good stuff Andrew! It sounds like it was a great campaign. Thanks for writing it up – I’ve enjoyed reading along greatly.
