Writing On: A “Mini” WALL #4 Update

Marching on…
“Mini” because basically ’tis very short! The guts is that I’m still writing, still wrangling with muses and manuscript, and still in the “final boss fight and aftermath” stage, so although things are definitely happening I’m not at the tangible news stage yet.
As soon as I am, though, you can be sure I’ll report it here.
Otherwise it’s a case of head down and keep going. To paraphrase a Zen aphorism (which I believe may be Confucian in origin):
“The writing is easy: keep going; the writing is hard: keep going. Keep going!”
So on that note, I shall hie me to the writing desk in the metaphorical high tower, and write on!

Yay! we are with you in spirit
I feel the boost already! 😀
Can’t wait to read it when it’s done!
Can’t wait for it to “be” done and in readers’ hands. 😉
I’ve re-read the series and still can’t wait for next “instalment”. I say this as there is so much scope for more
Or “moar” (aka more-with-a-roar) — & therein lies part of the reason, at least, that it has been a road to get here. However, although reaching ‘the end’ always has mirage-like qualities, the “keeping going” bit inexorably whittles it down.
I feel with your depth of characters and fantastic plot and storylines 6 books would do the characters and yourself more justice. The most exciting new fantasy series in the last 20yrs for me and I’ve been reading fantasy since first picking up the hobbit in the school library in 1978
Wow, Darrell, that is quite a tribute! 😀 Thank you for letting me know you’ve had such a positive reading experience with the WALL story.
Rock/write steady
Thank you, Ted. 🙂 (Also, apologies that it took me a wee while to spot your comment!)
