An Author’s Tale #3 & #4 — Conversations From The Writing Life
On January 29, I posted Parts #1 and #2 of an in-depth interview with podcaster, and audiobook creator Stephanie Frewen.
The interviews appear in Season 2 of Stephanie’s popular podcast series, The Author’s Tale, which comprises “casual conversations …between Stephanie… and prominent and influential New Zealand authors”, centered on inspiration, influences, and other aspects of their writing lives.
I also promised to bring you Part 3 once it posted, but that, as it turns out was my error: it’s parts #3 and #4. 😀
Followers of The Wall Of Night series will be pleased to know it’s the primary focus of interview #3:
The Author’s Tale: Helen Lowe in Conversation with Stephanie Frewen — Part 3
Whereas #4 is centered more on my writing process and philosophy, chiefly with the novels but including a brief discussion of a short story, Red Earth.
The Author’s Tale: Helen Lowe in Conversation with Stephanie Frewen — Part Four
If you missed the first two instalments, Part 1 discusses influences, my early writing journey, and my poetry, in particular. Part 2 concentrates on Thornspell and the initial journey to publication for my novels, including finding an agent and the role she then played.
