About The Characters: Meet The Minor Players In “The Wall Of Night” Series — Meet Nindorith
The About The Characters post series focuses on the minor characters in The Wall Of Night series, in large part because:

Initially, the series focused exclusively on characters from The Heir of Night, but now I’m continuing on with minor characters from both The Gathering Of The Lost and Daughter of Blood — in alphabetical order, by name, of course!
Currently we’re exploring “N” and and today’s character is Nindorith, who appears in both The Gathering of the Lost and Daughter of Blood. Like Nherenor, featured relatively recently, Nindorith is a character whose page time may be “minor”, but is outweighed by his influence within the story.

She recognized the power that surged through from the grounds of Tenneward Lodge—and that what she had encountered then was only the shadow of the entity that was arriving now. For a split second it reminded her of Hylcarian—but the flames that ignited around the edges of the portal were black, and the force behind them was greater than anything she had ever felt before, even in the heart of the Old Keep.

She had not forgotten the waves of power that the Swarm demon called Nindorith had blasted across Caer Argent, on the night when she and Kalan fled before him. She had to assume the demon would remain alert for any evidence she had resurfaced—and for all Nhenir’s legendary ability, the helm was adamant that Nindorith would recognize its aura.
